FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

On this page we show you the 13 frequently asked questions, which are frequently placed us, centralized and answered. But please consider that these informations are general and specially your case is authoritative. We solely can give you very accurate informations in a counseling interview and after accurate analysis of your individual situation.

How will my charges be calculated?

The Detective Agency Lentz abide by advocacies of the industrial unions. That means we calculate the actual hours worked and the actual drived kilometers. In individual cases, if the expenditure of human labor, that we have to do, is absolutely clear and explicit, we can make a deal with an all-inclusive charge. This cannot be dealed in a telephone call, but in a comprehensive and personal advice.

Does my private legal costs insurance accept your costs?

In general the legal costs insurance does not accept this costs, but we had three exemptions in the past. Insofar please clarify this question with your assurer.

How does the assignment of the Detective Agency Lentz proceed in detail?

First we conduct a noncommittal personal advice with you in one of our offices or at your home. If you decide to mandate us after that, you conclude a contract with us and fill a questionnaire. So we have an outline of your individual situation and can begin to belabor your case. At first we give our Private Investigators a breefing about your case and then they will begin to develop your case.

How many Detective-Administrators do work on my case?

If it is only a determination, normally 1-2 Private Investigators will be deployed; on an observation mind. 3 Private Investigators will be deployed. In some exceptional cases, for example on a persecution of a Vehicle abroad, sometimes also 4 or 5 Private Investigators. For observations we have a subsurfaced observationbus. The other Private Investigators will be placed in our different assignment-vehicles with different licence plate numbers, so that on a persecution the vehicles can be changes if it is necessary, so that the person who is observed does not suspect. We have also many technical things which help us to last undetected. An observation with one Private Investigator does work on the TV but not in reality! Neither we nor you will get any profit out of it if our Private Investigators will be detected.

Will I get a written report?

Yes. You will get a detailed, minutious report. If you like, for a little additional charge we can translate your report in English, Spanish or French. You'll get this report in a map with many Fotos, eventually some video-material and a video-disk. You'll acknowledge the acceptance of this map. In this report, all Private Investigators are named, so that it is no problem to get them as witnesses in court. The reports are always judical utilizable. You can assume that a report from a 8-hour-observation will be about 4-8 pages.

Can I sit on the observation?

Your presence while the observation could constrain the professional accomplishment of the case becuase it can be that you get a emotional breakdown (with private persons). We also do not want to show our tricks and undetected verhicles and want to stay anonymous. Like this every Detective Agency would crash in best time.

Can I phone with the Private Investigators while the observation?

Eventually our officer-in-charge can phone you while the observation; but you have to give us a wirtten agreement that we can phone you. But we can not give you the number of our Private Investigators because it is too risky that your call distract our Private Investigators.

Do the Private Investigators know my identity?

They only get to know what they have to know. And this is not your identity!

What kind of persons are the Private Investigators?

Our Private Investigators are all salaried and some are in our company since many years. We do not want a corporation with subcontractors. Our team is composed of male and female Private Investigators. The can be used as couples. They all have a two year old education as certificated Private Investigator (ZAD) and an other education, for example a commercial one or a technical one.

Many times in a year our Private Investigators have the possibility to make a further training in interior or external seminars and education activities. Because of that high admeasurement of education and continuing education our staffs we differ from other Detective Agencies. Most of them take their staffs from the police or the security firm without spending some time in education and continuing education. For this Detective Agencies that is very cheap, but they do not think about that the police people or security people have no idea about observation work or determination work. That applies to "former intelligence staffs" too.

Each of our staffs has been audited in reference to police-record, private life, past life etc. with positiv result. You can be sure that your assignment will be arranged from educated Private Inverstigators very bohemian and targeted.

Do you have written references?

In our branch the clients do not want to show their identity and to write a reference. But however we have some written references from pleased private clients, firms and lawyers in inland and abroad. But because of the discretion we only can show them to you in a personal conversation whem we know your identity and can not give you that references in copy or original.

Do you arrange also some collection work?

Neither the Detective Agency Lentz is a licensed Collection Agency, nor we encash financial means for our clients. But we can place you to another Collection Agency, with which we work together.

Does the Detective Agency Lentz work on basis of profit charges?

The Detective Industrie is legal classified as attendance industrie. That means we work independent from profit and are paid for aducction our benefits. If we work on basis of profit charges we would lose our plausibility on court.

In our branch it is very difficult to definite the word "profit". You pay us to bring the truth, not to bring the result you want to have, although you like the truth or not!

Do you also employ department store detectives?

Since the creation of the Detective Agency Lentz we are spezializing in determinations, observations and enquiries in civil law, criminal law and family law. We do not employ department store detectives and we do not guard any objects. But also in that branch we can place you to some colleques of us which do such work.
