Returning a child home

Example

Your ex- spouse or partner has abducted your child. Either the child has been taken to an unknown location within Germany, or the child has been hidden at the home of your ex-spouse or partner.
There, perhaps in a boarding school, or with friends, relatives of your ex-spouse or partner. German authorities can usually legally do little or even nothing in such situations so that it is frequently the case that such negotiations between the German and the authorities of the respective country can sometimes last years and even then they are not always successful, i.e. the child is not returned to you.

Our suggestion

Our specialists both home and abroad have years of experience in the return of children; we have the best contacts at home and abroad, perfect language skills or experienced contact persons in most countries with corresponding language and technical knowledge of the individual legal situation in the respective country.

Therefore, in consultation with you, we embark on the search for your abducted child as soon as possible and first of all find out where the child is currently being kept, determine its daily routine and then - perhaps with the help of a person known and trusted by the child - take the child into our custody at a suitable moment and immediately bring it back to Germany or to you.

When the child is in custody, the complete return to Germany must already be perfectly planned and organised. This is necessary as in most cases there are only a few hours available to leave the country in question. The objective of our carefully and conscientiously planned operation is always to proceed as "quietly" as possible, i.e. to avoid attracting attention and any confrontation with the authorities or the inhabitants in the country.

By the time the person with the duty of care has noticed that the child has gone missing, we are already on the way back to Germany.
